What does NNNR mean? It seems to be some email/chat shorthand but I'm not sure?NNNR = Negative Notification Not Required.
In other words, don't bother responding if the answer is "no."Please see comment by research_help-ga as follows:

Something seems reversed here. The official answer is that the
researcher could not find the answer. And then the apparent answer is
given in a comment. Perhaps siliconsamurai posted this "answer" by
accident? Perhaps the editors should make pinkfreud's comment the

answer?Hi, thank you for submitting your question to Google Answers, I hope I
can provide the information you are seeking.
Well, you didn?t give any referents which could be used to narrow down
the answer but here are some possibilities:
There is a chat room participant with the user name nnnr@ngihkbz.bd...
at http://zion.wyrihaximus.net/index.php
Perhaps what you saw was a reference to a user name?

Thank you again for turning to Google Answers for your research needs. Thanks for the try but it doesn't appear very useful to me. The NNNR
was in the subject heading of an email. I had already done searches
and saw most of the references you provided. The only close thing I
saw was in a smiley's list where it said that typing :topsakall would
produce a smiley (no longer pictured on the list) meaning nnnr. I was
hoping to find someone to answer the question who had some general
knowledge of this as I had already searched a significant amount.
It's not possible for me to ask the person who wrote the email.
I guess in the end, no, it doesn't provide any help to me.Greetings, napolean2!
