*A ticket on NH with Japan domestic flight: 2 awards?

  • Hey all,

    I'm looking at booking a *A Saver F award (UA miles) to Japan and Korea using NH. I also want to visit a friend in northern Japan while I'm there.

    What I'm thinking is something like this:

    WAS-ICN-NRT-ONJ-WAS (intentionally leaving out the connections). Could I book something like that as one award ticket, or would I have to use a Japan domestic award in addition to the save F to get the HND-ONJ part of the trip booked?

  • You are permitted only one stopover or open jaw on an award ticket so it would be necessary to get another award ticket or purchase one for your domestic Japan visit. Good luck with getting your F on NH.

    SQ's always an option. I've been feeling out their schedule for next summer and I have been able to find some dates.
