  • Is there a min stay requirement?
    It seems the fare is only available on a 2/29 or 3/1 departure and a 3/3 or 3/4 return.

    Xpedia has 3/1 to 3/3 or 3/4 $183.90 AI.


  • not a bad deal if you get the 763 and it beats transcon pricing.. i'd do it if I was in LA during that time


  • BTW, it's not as much of a screamin' deal, but Orbitz has LAX->PPT on AF for $665 a/i bookable late Feb. Which is better than I've seen for French Polynesia before. (Apologies if this isn't much of a deal - I'm still learning.)

    Crackingfoxy that's a great price to Tahiti! Last time I went $1000 was the best I could find. I'm going to see if I can find time for a quick trip in my schedule. Thanks for sharing.

  • just got mine for 178 plus a 5 dollar booking fee, 183 ai. im on AA 31 out of lax on the 1st, and 284 on monday the 3rd. anyone on these flights?

  • just want to mention that the same dates (mar 1-3) are available from dfw on united...(thanks to SAT Lawyer, who found it ^)

  • This is disappearing fast. The 8:10 AM flight out (AA 31) is already sold out in Q (it was still available a couple of hours ago), so you have no way of getting there on March 1st other than the 8:25 PM flight that gets in after Midnight.

    Maybe OK for a quick-turn mileage run but if you were hoping for a nice little 2 1/2 (or 3 1/2) day vacation, the first day's shot now.

  • This is disappearing fast. The 8:10 AM flight out (AA 31) is already sold out in Q (it was still available a couple of hours ago), so you have no way of getting there on March 1st other than the 8:25 PM flight that gets in after Midnight.

    Check back tonight after midnight. I tried to convince the guys I'm headed to Vegas with next weekend to head to Hawaii instead. No luck. So the 4 Q seats I had on hold for the 2.29 8:25PM flight should become available then.

    Hawaii would have been cheaper.

    Any alternative on the horizon?A bit more expensive, but the next weekend is only $278+ / $313 ai (3/7 - 3/10). Still a good fare to HNL.

    Doesn't look like the 2/29 departure is there anymore, at least I couldn't find it. So current valid dates exLAX are 3/1 through 3/3 or 3/4.

    $357.80 AI for two tix booked @ AA.com.

    If you don't mind my asking where did you find this thing 1st? (I'm still learning to hunt these down on my own.

  • No - did you all get together at Cheesecake Factory?
    I was at the Marriott and really spent after a day of whale watching. Took me a few hours to stop moving (in my head) after that ride.

  • For the same dates, SFO is pretty cheap also: $218, maybe less if I had the patience to work the website. United's is easier in my book but UAL wants over $500 for the same time!
