AA EXP-Round the world fares?
Escrito el 9 de January del 2009 por cfz.I've used the oneworld itinerary planner (http://www.oneworld.com/ow/flight-info/itinerary-planner)to plan my DONE4 in April/May. You can select differnet cities and then add and delete then to try out different routes. I found it very useful. Although it didn't like some of the things I plugged into that I knew I could do. But it was great for checking flights and connection times. Then I used mileage monkey (http://slfft.allhyper.com/0.95/award.htm)to work out mileage and play with different routes.
Between the two of these tools I think I managed to maximise my mileage with the time restrictions I had.
Also checkout the oneworld forum.
You might find better advise in the oneWorld forum where are several threads that discuss the oneWorld Explorer ticket.
This forum here is mainly used for publishing exceptional deals on flights and hotels.
My suggestion is (as you mentioned you are in the posession of eVIPs) booking a DONE4 or DONE5 (Business Class for 4 or 5 continents) and upgrade the AA routes to F. Now there aren't that many on an Explorer ticket but anyways... something like JFK-EZE, EZE-LAX, LAX-NRT- *OW Partner* - LHR-JFK would give you at least a use for 4 eVIP.
Many OW partners have a great Business Class so you dont need to upgrade to F at all cost ;) Talking about BA & CX ^
