My Guinea pig wont calm down, Im holding her, her cage broke my mom fixing it but shes really jumpy, what should i do to calm her down???hold her/him up to ur chest and pet her/him or u can put him/her on ur lap and put in some places and one place make tham puuuurjust cuddle her and tell her it's all right and feed her a apple Guinea pigs HATE loud noises or anything that will make them jumpy. This cage broke, how did it happen? That really could have scared her.. cover her cage and let her rest and NO LOUD NOISES let her calm down that way GOOD LUCKjust pet her on the back for a while and see weather its hungry or something like that.

it might give u some infoGuinea pigs are creatures with very sensitive ears
and they tend to be quite jumpy
i sugest to hold her regulary so she will get used to you
put her in a quiet spot and talk to her gently
some thing i used with my new hamster is to put her cage on your bed then sit on your bed and read so she gets used to you near her
