So, what changed? I have been scheduled on NH915 for a few months now flying in early November and that is the same schedule.

Interestingly my return is on TG676 supposed to depart 0730 and arrive at 1540, but NH954 leave 20 minutes later and arrives 10 minutes earlier. But I am scheduled for NH002 the next morning anyway so those couple of minutes won't make a big difference.

RE BKK:

So I guess one needs to choose from the following 2 options.

1) Morning flight means 1 extra paid night in the hotel, 4:30 wake up for a 5:15 hotel departure, the unlikey ability to sleep all the way from BKK to NRT, and basically 18 hours of nonstop flying. Also any delay out of BKK and it's a forced overnight.

2) Night flight means sleep all the way to NRT, Long layover.

I don't enjoy the layover, but I tend to get a lot of work done in the lounge and can enjoy my Tivo at home via the slingbox.

This thread is for a sched change that happened Oct 29, 2006.

I flew in Newstyle F (sold as C) serviced by a 744 on NH 915 last Sunday! I knew it was going to be a 3-cabin but I was happy to see my "suite" waiting for me when I boarded the aircraft.^

Any other schedule news?

I guess it was an anomili since this summer was my first year in Asia but when flying into BKK from SYD on QF 1, which landed at around 11:00, we parked next to an ANA 747. Was this just a special upgauge of aircraft or is there a 747 scheduled on the route?

Yes no more 2 redeye flights from BKK and good to know NH is adding a SIN flight.

Now if they would only bring back F on these sectors

Is their 763s on this route no good? I just checked and NH112 is operated by a 763, with 2-1-2 configuration in J. The pictures look OK. What's the actual experience of seat comfort, as well as catering & overall experience? Is SQ's 744 service much better on this route? (I know their PTV is better, for sure.)

The 744 is available only via Singapore, SQ fly regional 772 (cursory June schedule) non-stop BKK=NRT! In that case it's a toss up, but I prefer the new Club ANA Asia over regional J on SQ! YMMV........
